An image of some security personnel. They hardly go on strike but when the working conditions are not favourable, police strike is inevitable.

A chilling confession, indeed.  A man, yet to be fully identified by the authorities, has  confessed to killing about 76 women for ritual. He claimed the murder was to fortify him. He gave him alias as  ‘Mistina Orobo’ during an interview on Fresh FM.

The mysterious man claims he now identifies as a pastor. He stated, “The number is not part of the people I had been hired to kill.” According to him, the blood of these women was needed to renew his mystical power. After taking the blood, he admitted to eating their bodies, according to Punch report. The program, titled “Opeyemi,” aired on Saturday.

“My idol takes about 73 to 76 women for over seven years,” he revealed. He explained that he often sourced the women  from clubs. “When I eat people, it is purposely to renew the voodoo in my body,” he added. His chilling confession raises concerns about ritual killings in the area.

He mentioned that he had experienced near-death situations. “Sometimes, when I’m shot, it won’t penetrate, even when I’m hacked, the machete breaks,” he claimed. His descriptions of human body parts were equally alarming. “The sweetest human parts are tongue, palm, and foot,” he said.

Chilling confession and connections

Mistina Orobo claimed he worked for influential individuals. “I also work for bank managers, politicians, and some other rich men,” he explained. He said he was well-known among them. “I charge up to N50 to N80 million to get people killed,” he noted.

He detailed a disturbing incident involving a bank manager. “The only person who was left to sign refused to sign. We visited him, made him sign, and killed him afterward,” he recounted. His revelations underscore the disturbing connections between ritual killing and political power.

The man also discussed his role during elections in Oyo State. He requested to keep his identity hidden for now. This confession raises urgent questions about the culture of violence in the region.

A troubled past and redemption

Reflecting on his upbringing, the man shared his early experiences. He grew up as the son of an herbalist. “I always eat sacrifices in seven different junctions,” he said. This practice fortified him for a life of crime.

He described his transition to a life of crime starting at a young age. “I grew up to become a dreaded hired assassin and sometimes, highway robber,” he explained. However, he claimed to have found redemption.

He described a transformative experience. “I met Jesus in my dream,” he stated. He explained how this encounter changed his path. “When I went to retaliate, I had a change of mind,” he shared.
