Controversial social media personality, Martins Otse (VDM), has threatened to drag many down, following the Bobrisky lawsuit of N1bn.
Reacting in another viral video on Sunday, VDM says Bobrisky, along many prominent person’s integrity will go down in the ongoing saga.
“This case, they will definitely exchange their credibility for my publicity again, as usual. I will suffer them. Dem go hear am hot, hot. Some people’s integrity will go down … a lot of them. Their integrity will go down. You will hate why you put yourself up… you will hate why you took this case like this,” he said.
Bobrisky lawsuit and demands
Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has sued Very Dark man (VDM) for N1bn, according to a letter from R.T. Omuvwie & Co.
Acting as lawyers to Bobrisky, the letter warned VDM to stop “defamatory and blackmail attacks,” while also demanding damages.
The letter denied Bobrisky ever made the controversial video call, which VDM made public in a recent viral video. The said audio alleged that Bobrisky served his six months jail term in a private apartment.
Bobrisky denies any wrong doing in lawsuit
However, Bobrisky has denied everything in the audio. In an earlier reaction, he claimed he served his complete jail term.
The letter from his lawyers corroborated his earlier stand, stating instead that the said audio was from artificial intelligence. It said Bobrisky neither participated nor had any idea of the recorded conversation.
The lawyers also said Idris Okuneye served his jail term properly and in full. Moreover, they argued that Bobrisky did not bribe any law enforcement officer, neither claimed to have done same. “Our client served his prison time within the correctional facility in Lagos State”, they added.
Aside from the N1bn damages, they ask VDM to takedown the video he published with the offending call recording.
He is also to publish a written apology in two national dailies. A video recording of the same apology in social media platforms is to follow. VDM is equally to write an undertaking to desist from further “defamatory contents against” Bobrisky.
